This limited television series takes inspiration from that event. Thai Cave Rescue season 1 tells us the story of 12 young boys who were aspiring footballers.
Ek happens to be their coach and together the Wild Boars team decided to take a stroll outside the national park areas. For some reason they went on to explore a cave system that exists near Chirai – we are talking about the Tham Luang Nang Non Cave Systems. It is truly a wonderful piece of nature’s art and a treat for any eyes. The football team along with their assistant coach probably went there for travel purposes. But somehow they are fate who went in the wrong direction that day.
The team somehow got trapped inside the Tham Luang caves; even after 24 hours, they were unable to navigate and reach the outside world for help. Since this case system is ancient the entire area was completely flooded and it was a near-impossible task of extraction. The hydraulic engineers were quick to find out that the underground was flooded at a high rate. The rescues started to do their best while applying food water and necessary items to the boys and their families. In the end, the Wild Boars Team and Coach Ek could finally the daylight again.
